ちゃしつ Tea room
茶事のための部屋。多くは四畳半以下の小間で、無駄を削ぎ落とした簡素な空間に、宇宙を畳む。

そうあん Grass hermitage
茅葺や土壁の、粗末を尊ぶ小さな茶室。利休が侘びの理想として結晶させた。

客が身をかがめて入る小さな出入口。貴賎を問わず頭を垂れ、席では皆が等しくなる。

ろじ Roji garden
茶室へ至る庭の道。俗を離れ、心を清めながら歩む「市中の山居」。

客を迎える前に露地に水を打つ。土と石が濡れ、涼と清らかさが生まれる。
